PETER STANGANELLI & RAPTURE offer a wonderful concert package which includes Peter and his band with or without a complete sound system. Peter & Rapture play contemporary Christian rock which will appeal to all ages. They get your audience involved occasionally singing along with the group. Their music is a mixture of approximately 75% original material from their CD's and 25% popular standard Christian songs including a contemporary version of "Amazing Grace", "Put A little Love in Your Heart", "Put Your Hand in the Hand" and more.

Peter is founder and President of Christian Music Ministry of America (CMMA). CMMA has sponsored numerous concerts in the NY tri-state area including the Jones Beach Summer Christian Concert Series and hosts the annual Long Island Christian Music Festival at Hofstra University in the fall.

Peter Stanganelli has been promoting positive messages through his music for many years performing at various concert halls, Christian coffee houses, the Jones Beach Christian Concert Series, colleges and churches since 1986. Peter holds an MA Degree in Music Composition/Theory and a BA in Music Education. He was formally one of the Directors of Instrumental Music in the Garden City Public Schools. Peter was also the cantor at the Pastoral Formation Weekends for the Diocese of Rockville Center in New York from 2001-2004. Peter lives in Merrick and is quite well known throughout the Long Island/Tri State area, especially in the Christian community. He has appeared numerous times on national TV as well as local Christian TV stations such as Telicare & Inspired Blessings. Peter's song "Do It Up America" has been played on national Christian radio stations as well as local Christian radio stations such as KLOVE, Long Island's HOPE RADIO & secular station KJOY.

Peter and his band have performed many benefit concerts in the New York area to feed and shelter the poor as well as fight cancer. Peter lives in Merrick and is quite well known throughout the Long Island/Tri State area, especially in the Christian community.
