one hour concert package which includes the six piece group and a complete
sound system. Rapture plays middle of the road rock which can appeal to
all ages. They get your audience involved occasionally singing along with
the group. Their music is a mixture of approximately 75% original material
from their CD’s and 25% popular standard Christian songs including a
contemporary version of Amazing Grace, Put Alittle Love in Your Heart, Put
Your Hand in the Hand, Celine Dion's That's The Way It Is and an exciting
grand finale version of God Bless America. Peter Stanganelli has been promoting positive messages through his music for many years performing in various concert halls, colleges and churches. Peter holds an MA Degree in Music Composition/Theory and a BA in Music Education. He is currently one of the Directors of Instrumental Music in the Garden City Public Schools. He founded Christian Music Ministry of America in 1985 and later Do It Up America in 1997. He has appeared numerous times on Telicare-TV with Father James Vlaun and Father Thomas Hartman and was the cantor at the Pastoral Formation Weekends for the Diocese of Rockville Centre in New York. He is also Director of Music for the South Shore Y Jewish Community Center's Summer Camp on Long Island, New York. Peter lives in Merrick and is quite well known throughout the Long Island/Tri State area, especially in the Christian community. |
